Campaign 01
Campaign Overview
This was a Tier 1, high impact Marketplace campaign and beat, introducing a new content type to the Marketplace and the Minecraft community. The goal was to get more players into and engaging with the Marketplace, along with getting current players excited for a new ontent type.
My Role
I was the creative marketing lead on this project. I was the key creative stakeholder on all related campaign assets, working with an external agency on the hero CGI trailer, and working with internal artist on the hero splash art and social posts.
Creative Process
Using the brand guidelines, I created the creative brief and toolkit that informed all campaign assets and tone across all channels. Utilizing the Marketplace Portal as an entity in the sky that drops new game items into the world ws a very strong red-thread throughout the entire campaign.
Results & Impact
This campaign was considered a huge success internally, generating revenue and engagement beyond expectations. The new content type quickly became our top selling content type and our community was very excited to have this update.
